Lakes Area Security, a leading provider of private security services in Grand Forks and Fargo, is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing team as Private Security Officers
In this roll you will:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, deterring criminal activity and ensuring the safety of our clients and their assets.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems, identifying and responding to potential threats.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, maintaining order and a professional presence.
- Conduct security checks, gathering evidence and reporting incidents accurately.
- Interact with clients and the public in a courteous and professional manner, de-escalating conflicts and providing assistance.

Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure environment
- Monitor and patrol premises as directed
- Direct clientele to intended destination
- Asses and act upon threats or deviant behavior accordingly
Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a clean criminal background check.
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
- Have strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work individually and as a part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Open work availability preferred
Bonus recruitment points if you have:
- Prior security experience.
- Military or law enforcement background.
- First-aid or CPR certification.
- Bilingual skills
